What's Your Style?

We often receive the question, "So, what is your style like?" From our perspective, the answer is that we don't really have a specific "style".
Our aim has always been to create photography that is crisp, clean, and classic. We've noticed that trends, like presets or unusual compositions, tend to become outdated, much like bell-bottom jeans or lava lamps. We want to avoid this for your photos! Our goal is for your images to maintain that initial "wow" factor you experienced when you first saw them.
What exactly is a preset? A preset is aptly named because it enables a photographer to simply press a button and apply a certain "look" to the photos with minimal effort or creativity. You might have come across images where the colors seem muted, desaturated, dark, or muddy. That’s a preset. There are various types of presets that photographers can buy to batch-edit their images so they all share the same "look". While this may seem convenient at the time, those photos will likely feel outdated once the preset trend fades away.
We've also noticed a newer trend that leaves excessive headroom, while cropping people off at the knees. We prefer to capture the entire wedding gown in our photos because we believe it’s the dress you've invested so much time, energy, and money in choosing, and you’d rather remember your dress in 20 years, rather than just trees or a plain sky.
We focus on capturing details. We document emotions. We showcase the true colors of the flowers and dresses you selected for your special day. We aim for well-lit photographs, so that the details can truly shine. We try to think ahead—20, 30, even 50+ years—to what your children and grandchildren will want to see. This is why we strive to keep things crisp and clean. We aim to present your day as it genuinely was, and how you wish to preserve this legacy for future generations.
And I suppose that is what you'd call our "style".
